Heart Health

You may not realize this, but almost every muscle in your body get’s to rest…except your heart.

 

If you grab a tennis ball and squeeze it 100,000 times, you’ve just performed a day’s work in your heart’s world.  And your heart does that every day, without rest, for your entire life.

 

Even when you’re lying in bed, your heart is working harder than your legs when you’re running at full speed. This muscle must pump six quarts of blood through your body every 20 seconds.
